Since October 2023, XYZ Seafood Corp (and their suppliers) have stopped practicing eyestalk ablation / has started to phase out eyestalk ablation from their supply chain. x% of their supply chain no longer practices eyestalk ablation.

This move towards a more humane approach in shrimp production was aimed to improve animal welfare, quality of products, and meet the requirements of international certification standards.
